Donations to the AOBS

Donations to the AOBS help to support the work of the AOBS and its parent organization, Weightlifting.org, Inc.. No one at the AOBS takes a salary and phones and office space are donated. One hundred percent (100%) of the money we receive goes toward furthering our objectives of developing athletes, educating the public, schools and recreation personnel about the benefits and methods of weightlifting, preserving the history of the Iron Game and battling against the use of drugs in sport.

In addition to knowing your dollars are being used to further our objectives, you earn some very tangible benefits from supporting the work of the AOBS.

For a donation of $25 or more per year, you will receive our AOBS newsletter published 4 times per year. Each issue has articles on history and heroes of the Iron Game, is well as current news regarding our community. In addition, supporters of the AOBS can purchase tickets to our annual reunion dinner at a discounted rate.
