Our Next Reunion Set For October 5th, 2013 at the Marriott Hotel in Newark Airport,NJ
The date of the 2013 AOBS reunion dinner is October 5th, 2013. The event will be held at the Marriott Hotel in the Newark, NJ Airport. This will be a super event with some amazing honorees, a wonderful complete dinner, terrific strength performances and many other surprises.
While honoring these fabulous stars for their achievements is our primary objective on the day of the reunion, these annual AOBS gatherings offer a unique opportunity to learn the history of the Iron Game and what we have learned from that history. Prior to the dinner, there will be a Collectors and Historical Meeting and a Seminar on some facet of the Iron Game, along with a variety of exhibitions of strength. Finally, as always, the reunion will provide a very special opportunity to renew old friendships and make new ones.

We won't begin taking reservations for the event until after the new year (there are no ticket sales at the event - all reservations must be made in advance). After the first of the year, there will be a here dinner form . You can print and send it to us on the address indicated on the form (or shown at the top of this page). Or you can make a payment online by clicking here (if you pay online be sure and send an e-mail to the e-mail address shown on the top of this page giving us the names of the people attending the dinner, their contact information, the mailing address to which the tickets should be sent and your dinner entree choices for each person (chicken, fish or vegetarian). PLEASE NOTE THAT TICKETS WILL NOT BE MAILED UNTIL AUGUST 2013, THOUGH YOU WILL RECEIVE AN E-MAIL CONFIRMING YOUR RESERVATION AS SOON AS IT IS MADE.
The price of running the dinner has increased each year over the past several years, but we have maintained our prices for the past five years nonetheless. In view of the continuing hard economic times, we want to hold our prices this year as well, but in order to do that we will need to modify our policy with regarding the dinner prices for guests. Beginning this year, the dinner will continue to be $60 for a donor and an additional $60for his/her first guest. However, additional guests will have to pay the regular price of $70 per person. In order for you to receive the discounted price of $60, you will need to be up-to-date with regard to you annual donation of $25 or more per year as of the time you make your reservation. The price for all others is $70 per person.
Once you have made on online payment, be sure and send an e-mail to the e-mail address shown on the top of this page giving us the names of the people attending the dinner, their contact information, the mailing address to which the tickets should be sent and your dinner entree choices for each person (chicken, fish or vegetarian). Make your reservations early as space is limited and because the hotel cannot accept last minute notification of our diners, no payments at the door will be accepted.
